The Black Cobra Studio is conveniently located in Sherwood directly off of interstate 67/167 (Wildwood exit). Right inside the door you’ll be greeted by Carah, our receptionist. Feel free to ask her about artist availability, pricing or just have a look around.
We’ve taken great care to weave our own personal aesthetic into our studio decor. We want this space to be an extension of our collective personalities while also being comfortable and inviting. On the walls (and just about everywhere else) you’ll spot custom art collections we’ve gathered over time; some pieces by our own tattoo artists. We all come from varied artistic beginnings prior to entering the tattoo trade and continue to work in our favorite mediums and subject matter. We find that being surrounded by art we love can provide added inspiration to do what we do best; providing the best tattoos around. The studio is a perfect place to display edifying art on an ever evolving canvas.
If you’re new to Black Cobra, after speaking with Carah feel free to have a seat on one of our comfy couches. You’ll find our artist portfolio binders nearby. Peruse as much as you like to get a feel for each artist. Each of our tattooers has their own style and areas of expertise. If you’re not sure who best fits you and your idea, just ask. We love to talk tattoos and want to match you with the perfect artist.
Wait a around for a bit and you’ll soon see one of our tattooers showing off their finished work to each other. We take pride in what we do and love to share the excitement of a brand new tattoo as both a complete work of art and a lasting testament to our craft.
With all the fun we have and creative expression around, we also take safety and cleanliness very seriously. We use state of the art sterilization equipment and practices, coupled with hospital grade cleaners, to ensure that the cleanliness of our work environment rivals any hospital or surgical center.
